Kazakhstan exported 12.7 million tons of grain

For the period from September 1, 2011 to August 31, 2012 for export 12.7 million tons of grain were shipped including flour in grain equivalent, which is 2.5 times more than in the 2010-2011 marketing year.

Astana. September 17. Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan shipped for export over 12 million tons of grain, Kazakhstan Today reports.

"For the period from September 1, 2011 to August 31, 2012 for export 12.7 million tons of grain were shipped including flour in grain equivalent, which is 2.5 times more than in the 2010-2011 marketing year," the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture informed, according to the Prime Minister's official website.

It is noted that out of 12.7 million tons 8.9 million tons were exported in grain, 2.6 million tons were exported in flour.

In addition, for the period from September,1 to 10 this year, 77,700 tons of grain were shipped.

It should be noted that in the 2012-2013 marketing year, it is planned to export about 12 million tons of grain, of which the amount of grain will be 9 million tons, and flour - 2.1 million tons.
