Kazakhstan launches AI legal navigator for businesses
Kazakhstan has launched a pilot AI-powered service to help entrepreneurs find mandatory legal requirements and keep track of changes to legislation, the Ministry of National Economy said.
A joint order launching the pilot project, titled the "Register of Mandatory Requirements in Entrepreneurship", was signed by the Ministry of National Economy and the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development.
The service uses artificial intelligence to analyse current regulations. It identifies requirements relevant to businesses, organises them and updates the information when legislation changes.
The ministry said entrepreneurs would no longer need to search through large numbers of documents to find relevant rules. The service is designed to help businesses quickly identify requirements for specific activities and reduce the risk of unintentionally violating them.
The project aims to reduce the administrative burden on businesses, make regulation more transparent and help entrepreneurs keep up with legislative changes.
The AI navigator is currently available on a digital AI platform for businesses. It is expected to be launched on the eGov Business portal in the near future.
As the service is still operating in pilot mode, suggestions for improvements can be submitted to the Digitalisation Department of the Ministry of National Economy by phone at +7 707 823 24 03, by email at t.belgiberdin@economy.gov.kz or through the mbs.com.kz platform.
