Kazakhstan National Fund assets grew by 5.2% to make USD 73 bln

"As of 1 April 2013 the National Fund assets amounted to 73 billion U.S. dollars, and increased by 5.2% since the beginning of the year".

Almaty. April 23. Kazakhstan Today - Since the beginning of 2013, the assets of the National Fund have grown by 5.2% and amounted to 73 billion U.S. dollars, Kazakh Minister of Economy and Budget Planning Yerbolat Dossayev said at a Government session on Tuesday, April 23.

"As of 1 April 2013 the National Fund assets amounted to 73 billion U.S. dollars, and increased by 5.2% since the beginning of the year," the Prime Minister's official website quotes Dossayev.

According to the Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan, for three months of this year the assets of the National Fund were replenished by 776.1 billion tenge. The main revenues account for direct taxes on oil sector enterprises (except for taxes payable to the local budget) to the amount of 773.4 billion tenge.
