Kazakhstan negotiate with Gazprom cost increase of Central Asian gas transit

Astana. December 1. Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan conducts negotiations with Gazprom on increase of the cost of the transit of Central Asian gas on its territory. The Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources of Kazakhstan Bakhtykozha Izmukhambetov said on Thursday, the agency reports.

"Such negotiations have been carried out annually and if earlier the transit cost was $0.7 per 100 km, later it was $1.1 and now negotiations are being conducted for further tariff increase," the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources said. Preliminary we have intentions to increase the tariff up to $1.6 per 100 km," he emphasized.
