Kazakhstan is ready to provide agricultural lands for foreign investors. Vice Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, Armand Evniev, informed during the break of the Kazakhstan-Saudi business-forum on Monday, the agency reports.

Astana. May 19. Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan is ready to provide agricultural lands for foreign investors. Vice Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, Armand Evniev, informed during the break of the Kazakhstan-Saudi business-forum on Monday, the agency reports.

"The Ministry of Agriculture has carried out the analysis of the situation and has revealed that more than 3.5 million hectares are not used for agricultural purposes. The main agricultural cultures can be grown on them. These lands could also be used for creation of a forage reserve. We are ready to offer this potential today to our foreign partners so that they could create their own enterprises, or joint ventures on these lands, or invest in the operating enterprises with the purpose of development of these lands," A. Evniev informed.
