Kazakhstan receives gas export earnings by 25% more

The largest volumes of 'blue fuel' are exported to Chian and Ukraine.
In the period between January to August, in Kazakhstan oil production has reached 37.3 billion cubic meters, that is by 5.8% more than in the previous year, Energyprom's study informs.

The three key gas producing regions account for more than 90%: Atyrau region - 15.6 billion cubic meters (+14.6% year-by-year), West Kazakhstan region - 13.8 billion cubic meters (the same as in the previous year), Aktobe region - 4.6 billion cubic meters (+2.3% over the year).

Exports of 'blue fuel' have made up 15 billion cubic meters over seven months, by 1.7% more than in the same period of the previous year.

We note the amount of exports has reached 1.03 billion dollars in monetary value - that is by 25.3% more than in the previous year.

The largest volumes are exported to China (35.4% - 363.7 million dollars, this is by 8 times more than that in the previous year), to Ukraine (28.6% - 293.5 million dollars, that is by 25.3% less than in the previous year).

For the Kazakhstani population, gas prices transported to distribution networks have increased by 8.6% over the year and these for compressed gas - by 5.7%.

Following 2017, gas transported through networks has gone up in price by 7.6% to the previous year, and compressed gas - by 14.4%.
