Kazakhstan refused Agip KCO consortium to change final term of development of Kashagan deposit scheduled for 2041. The Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Sauat Mynbayev informed on Saturday at the government session, the agency reports.

Astana. June 30. Kazakhstan Today- Kazakhstan refused Agip KCO consortium to change final term of development of Kashagan deposit scheduled for 2041. The Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Sauat Mynbayev informed on Saturday at the government session, the agency reports.

"The consortium brought up the question of postponing the final term for later than 2041. Kazakhstan ... has refused point black," S. Mynbaev said.

"Final term of the beginning of development of Kashagan deposit - 2041 - remains, he emphasized.
