Kazakhstan has refused to construct grain terminal in Georgian port Poti. The Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, Akylbek Kurishbayev, informed answering questions of deputies during the governmental hour on Monday, the agency reports.

Astana. September 23. Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan has refused to construct grain terminal in Georgian port Poti. The Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, Akylbek Kurishbayev, informed answering questions of deputies during the governmental hour on Monday, the agency reports.

"Food Corporation will not be engaged in construction, including in Poti. This question is connected with the international problems, the situation in Georgia," he explained.

Earlier Majilis deputy, Tito Syzdykov, suggested redirecting the resources meant for construction of the grain terminal in Poti for support of agricultural producers in Kazakhstan.
