Kazakhstan to increase volume of foreign trade up to $200 billion by 2015

Astana. June 13. Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan plans to increase volume of foreign trade up to $200 billion by 2015. The Minister of Industry and Trade of Kazakhstan Galym Orazbakov informed today during the forum Increase of Competitiveness and Export Potential of Kazakhstan, the agency reports.

As a whole, according to Orazbakov, "commodity turnover since 1995 has increased from around $9 billion by seven times and almost reached $62 billion." "That is annual commodity turnover increased by 19 %," he noted.

"Considering that four fifth of our export consists of raw goods, it is necessary to accept a number of radical measures on its diversification," the Minister noted.
