Kazakhstan, Toyota Tsusho discussed prospects for joint projects

During the meeting the sides discussed prospects of investment projects in the engineering, food industry, chemical industry.

Almaty. March 5. Kazakhstan Today - Prospects for implementation of new joint projects with Toyota Tsusho Corporation in Kazakhstan were discussed in the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies, according to the press service of the ministry.

"Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Industry and New Technologies Asset Isekeshev met with Vice President of Toyota Tsusho Corporation Yasuhiko Yokoi, General Manager Teruyuki Mori and Head of Toyota Tsusho Corporation in Kazakhstan Ichihashi Takuya," according to the press release, the Prime Minister's official website reports.

During the meeting the sides discussed prospects of investment projects in the engineering, food industry, chemical industry.

The management of the Japanese company expressed interest in establishing the production of components for cars, in particular - the production of batteries.

In addition, the sides discussed the issues of implementation of the projects on production of licorice root extract, nitrogen fertilizer from natural gas and glucose-fructose syrup.

Asset Issekeshev instructed the Industry Ministry agencies to make suggestions after a detailed study of the projects.
