Kazakhstan, Turkmen oil and mineral oil transit exceeded 2.2 million tons

Baku. August 14. Kazakhstan Today - In January - July, 2006 transit of Kazakhstan and Turkmen oil and mineral oil through Azerbaijan exceeded 2.2 million tons. Middle East Petroleum (MEP) informed the agency.

For the specified period on Dubendin terminal operated by MEP and on Baku terminal rented by Cross Caspian Company, 2.147.246 thousand tons of hydrocarbons were received from which 1.357.851 thousand tons -Kazakh oil and 789.375 thousand tons - Turkmen oil and mineral oil.

In January - July, 2006, 2.098.223 thousand tons of oil and mineral oil from which 1.322.247 thousand tons - Kazakhstan oil and 775.976 thousand tons - Turkmen oil and mineral oil were shipped from the terminals.

In July, the terminals received 265.536 thousand tons of hydrocarbons (166.574 thousand tons of Kazakh oil and 98.962 thousand tons of Turkmen oil and mineral oil). Total amount of oil shipment in July made 301.913 thousand tons, including 217.222 thousand tons - Kazakh oil and 84.691 thousand tons - Turkmen oil and mineral oil.
