Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan signed a contract to supply 320 thousand tons of coal

200 thousand tons of Kazakhstan's fuel has been delivered to Kyrgyzstan.

Almaty. September 21. Kazakhstan Today - Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan signed a contract to supply 320 thousand tons of coal, deputy director general of Electric Stations JSC, Abdylda Israilov, said at today's session of the SDPK faction.

According to him, at this date Kazakhstan has already supplied a part of coal, the Kyrgyz 24.kg Information Agency writes. "200 thousand tons of Kazakhstan's fuel has been delivered to Kyrgyzstan," he reported.

At the same time Abdylda Israilov says that Kazakhstan is not eager to supply coal to Kyrgyzstan.

According him, 300 thousand ton of coal needed for Bishkek TPP is not such huge amount for Kazakhstan.

"Electrical Stations are also interested in freeing from dependency of foreign coal but we have technical problems with coal mined for in territory of Kyrgyzstan. Shubarkul coal burns without use of fuel oil and gas. We need 6 million cubic meters of gas when burning 50 thousand ton of coal from Kara-Keche coal mine. But 47 thousand ton of Shubarkul coal is enough for same amount of heat generation," he said.
