Legal base for uniform economic space to be developed in Kazakhstan

The legal base of the uniform economic space will be developed in Kazakhstan in 2010 - 2011, taking into account the interests of domestic commodity producers. The Minister of Economy and Budgetary Planning of Kazakhstan, Bahyt Sultanov, informed at the government session, the agency reports.

Astana. February 9. Kazakhstan Today - The legal base of the uniform economic space will be developed in Kazakhstan in 2010 - 2011, taking into account the interests of domestic commodity producers. The Minister of Economy and Budgetary Planning of Kazakhstan, Bahyt Sultanov, informed at the government session, the agency reports.

"We need to develop the legal base of the uniform economic space in 2010 - 2011, taking into account the interests of domestic commodity producers," B. Sultanov informed.

"One of the conditions influencing development of non-raw export and domestic business is consecutive introduction in 2010 of the mechanisms of functioning of the Customs Union."

The uniform economic space was created within the EurAsEC that was created in 2000 and is the international economic organization aiming at formation of the common external customs borders of its member countries (Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan) and development of the uniform external economic policy, tariffs, the prices and other components of the common market.
