May gross international reserves grown by 2.14 %

Gross international reserves, as of June 1st, have grown by 2.14 % (they have decreased by 0.12 % from the beginning of the year) and have been $19 896 million, the agency reports citing the National Bank of Kazakhstan.

Almaty. June 5. Kazakhstan Today - Gross international reserves, as of June 1st, have grown by 2.14 % (they have decreased by 0.12 % from the beginning of the year) and have been $19 896 million, the agency reports citing the National Bank of Kazakhstan.

For the accounting period, the assets of the National Fund of Kazakhstan have grown by 2.97 % (from the beginning of the year, they have decreased by 15.86 %) and have been $23 128 million.

Hard currency assets, as of May, have grown by 1.34 % (from the beginning of the year, they have decreased by 1.31 %) and have been $17 637 million. Assets in gold - have grown by 8.88 % up to $2259 million.

Net international reserves in May grew by 2.15 % (from the beginning of the year, they decreased by 0.24 %) and have amounted to $19 797 million.

According to the National Bank, the monetary base, as of June 1, 2009, has been 2261.3 billion KZT.
