Memorandums on non-admission of rise of grain prices in domestic markets to be prolonged till new crop - vice PM

Memorandums on non-admission of rise of prices for grain in domestic markets concluded by the Association of legal entities - Grain Union of Kazakhstan with akimats of oblasts will be prolonged till new crop.

Astana. January 8. Kazakhstan Today - Memorandums on non-admission of rise of prices for grain in domestic markets concluded by the Association of legal entities - Grain Union of Kazakhstan with akimats of oblasts will be prolonged till new crop. Vice Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Umirzak Shukeev said today in the interview, the agency reports.

"Memorandums signed between Grain Union and the akim will be prolonged till new crop, that is practically within all this year," U. Shukeev said.

He estimated measures taken by the government on stabilization of prices for articles of food as "very effective that yielded results."

"We today presented corresponding memorandums, the order of these interventions to akims and now it is a question of the time and harmonious use of all these resources according to the situation in the market," U. Shukeev concluded, having added, that working group on maintenance of food safety headed by the Minister of Agriculture Ahmetzhan Esimov has been createdin the government.
