Ministry of Agriculture developed amendments to legislation concerning regulation of grain market

The Ministry of Agriculture developed amendments to the legislation concerning regulation of the grain market of the Republic. Director of Department of Agriculture and Fytosanitory Safety of the Ministry of Agriculture, Anna Buts, informed at session of the Ministry of Agriculture, the agency reports.

Astana. July 17. Kazakhstan Today - The Ministry of Agriculture developed amendments to the legislation concerning regulation of the grain market of the Republic. Director of Department of Agriculture and Fytosanitory Safety of the Ministry of Agriculture, Anna Buts, informed at session of the Ministry of Agriculture, the agency reports.

"To legislatively settle the issue of provision of home market with grain, the Ministry of Agriculture has developed and sent for coordination to the interested state bodies the bill on amendments and additions to the acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan concerning regulation of the grain market providing new mechanisms of regulation of the internal grain market," A. Buts informed.

The bill provides for "formation by the agent - JSC Company Prod Corporation - stabilization resources of grain due to the means of the republican budget." A. Buts noted that "now this question is being considered by the government."

The bill offers to introduce "compulsory deliveries of grain to stabilization resources."
