Astana. April 13. Kazakhstan Today - The Minister of Finance of Kazakhstan, Bolat Zhamishev, informed today during the governmental hour in Majilis of Parliament of Kazakhstan the National fund in 2009 - 2010 will not be increased due to the crisis, the agency reports.

"As for the National fund, its volume is $27 billion now. Part of these funds is directed from the national fund for the bond program of Samruk-Kazyna and KazAgro - $5 billion. They still remain the National fund, but not in foreign securities, but in emitters of Samruk-Kazyna and KazAgro," B. Zhamishev said.

"Such approach is justified. "On one hand, we keep the National fund in that volume that it was created, but taking into account the crisis situation, we will increase neither this year nor the next year," B. Zhamishev said.

According to the National Bank, as of April, 1st, the assets of the National fund of Kazakhstan have decreased by 1.43 % and have totaled $22 004 million.
