Oil prices in world market gone down

The prices of oil in the world market, following the results of the tenders on December, 24th, 2008, at the leading oil stock exchanges have significantly gone down, the agency reports with reference to RosBusinessConsulting (RBC).

Almaty. December 25. Kazakhstan Today - The prices of oil in the world market, following the results of the tenders on December, 24th, 2008, at the leading oil stock exchanges have significantly gone down, the agency reports with reference to RosBusinessConsulting (RBC).

"The official prices of oil futures of the nearest month of delivery have reached: in London on InterContinental Exchange Futures - IPE Brent Crude - $36.61 (-3.75) for a barrel; in New York on New York Mercantile Exchange - Light, Sweet Crude Oil - $35.35 (-3.63) for a barrel," the message states.

According to RBC, the decrease of the price occurred on the background of unfavorable economic news from the USA which is the evidence of a proceeding falling of the national economy into recession.
