Almaty. July 23. Kazakhstan Today - The principle of "one window" of issuing of licenses works only in Almaty. Executive Director of Forum of Businessmen of Kazakhstan, Munavara Paltasheva, said today during the press conference, the agency reports.

"The amendments and additions to the Law on Licensing were accepted last year. The principle of "one window" was accepted," M. Paltasheva reminded.

Business-association of Kazakhstan with support of USAID project on improvement of business-environment conducted monitoring of realization of the Law on Licensing in seven large cities of Kazakhstan: Almaty, Astana, Karaganda, Pavlodar, Taraz, Petropavlovsk and Rudny. "We did the research this year directed at studying how the principle of "one window" works in Kazakhstan," she specified.

"The subjects of the research were those kinds of licenses received most often by businessmen. The first and the most difficult conclusion of our research has been the fact that the principle of "one window" works, unfortunately, only in Almaty. In all other regions of Kazakhstan the principle of "one window" has not been introduced," M. Paltasheva emphasized.
