Almaty. November 3. Kazakhstan Today - After sharp decrease of prices in the world market of copper prices increased again. On October 28 quotations of copper at the London Metal Exchange (LME) have increased. At the morning tenders LME Select in Asia and the last tenders in London on October 30 the increase of prices proceeded. Prices of copper on LME with delivery in three months have also increased.

One of the main causes of increase of prices of copper last week were numerous messages of the companies on curtailment of production, though stocks of copper on attributed to LME warehouses for the last month have increased.

As a whole, world prices for copper have increased up to a week maximum. It was caused by demand for the goods for long term use in the USA that grew in September by 0.8 % due to the influence of growth of orders in motor industry and in manufacture of planes that has improved the situation in the markets of metals.

Even before increase of prices Macquarie Bank paid attention that decrease of demand for copper at the stock exchanges exceeded reduction of demand from the ultimate users. Therefore, Macquarie Bank assumed that as soon as the situation in the bank sphere is stabilized, industrial consumers will renew purchases and the prices will go upwards.

Now nobody can give exact forecasts on the world market of copper. Prices for copper have increased due to expectations that some manufacturers will stop factories and optimism will come back to the world markets of metals after October panic.
