Almaty. November 7. Kazakhstan Today - Prices in the world market of zinc have continued to decrease. The average price of this metal at the London Metal Exchange (LME) at the last tenders decreased. Stocks of zinc in warehouses monitored by LME for the last month have increased.

At Shanghai Futures Exchange (ShFE) prices for November zinc contracts for the last month have decreased and warehouse stocks have increased. According to Shanghai Nonferrous Metals Market, spot prices for zinc in Shanghai for the last month have also decreased.

Meanwhile, long-term forecasts are optimistic. Decrease of prices eventually will limit putting into operation of new mines, will lead to stop of some factories, reduction of stocks of zinc and, as consequence, to increase of prices of this metal.

Broker Company MF Global in the last review Metals Report has lowered last month's level of price resistance on zinc and the level of price support.

The analysts consider that in the nearest two-three months prices for zinc can increase in case of significant reduction of production of this metal.
