Prices of tin in the world market stabilized

World market prices of tin have stabilized. Stocks of metal in LME warehouses for the last month have decreased.

Almaty. August 4. Kazakhstan Today - World market prices of tin have stabilized. Stocks of metal in LME warehouses for the last month have decreased.

According to Steel Guru, prices for tin are high whereas China's demand has fallen. Due to high prices for this metal part of clients producing tin chemicals for medical and ceramic industry, has stopped their manufacture.

Barclays Capital expects a new rise of prices of tin as volumes of export of this metal from Indonesia have been reduced. Increase of prices will be supported by May increase of price of energy carriers, which has led to growth of expenses of the extracting companies.

According to World Bureau of Metal Statistics, world market has been in deficit of tin. World consumption of tin for January - April, 2008 has decreased in comparison with the similar period of the last year.

Broker Company MF Global in the last review of Metals Report has increased the level of price resistance and price support for tin.
