Prime Minister, chairman of Savings Bank of Russia discussed bilateral cooperation in banking sphere

The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, and the chairman of the Savings Bank of the Russian Federation, Herman Gref, discussed the questions of bilateral cooperation in the banking sphere, the agency reports citing the prime minister's press service.

Astana. August 27. Kazakhstan Today - The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, and the chairman of the Savings Bank of the Russian Federation, Herman Gref, discussed the questions of bilateral cooperation in the banking sphere, the agency reports citing the prime minister's press service.

"The officials exchanged opinions on the current situation in the international financial markets and discussed the questions of bilateral cooperation in the banking sphere and activization of the work of the Savings Bank of Russia in the Kazakhstan financial market," the press service informed.

According to G. Gref, in 2009 the Savings Bank of Russia has increased volume of operations in Kazakhstan by 20 % and intends to reach the level of 50 % until the end of 2009.

The chairman of the Savings Bank of Russia informed the Prime Minister on the course of joint with Fund of National Welfare Samruk-Kazyna realization of the arrangements reached by the Presidents of Kazakhstan and Russia. "We discussed our projects realized in the territory of Kazakhstan and Russia."
