Astana. August 19. Kazakhstan Today - The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, during the government session on the results of country development in the first half of 2009, suggested introducing audit of the work of the first heads of banks, the agency reports.

"The practice of last year has demonstrated that the existing system of regulation assumes that heads of banks are respectable people. All the banks' documents are signed by the Agency for Regulation and Supervision of Financial Markets and Financial Organizations by the chairman of the board or the chairman of the Board of Directors and, basically, a priori, there should not be any fraud committed by first heads of the banks. The heads of two out of four banks have appeared to be swindlers," K. Masimov said.
