Procurement prices for grain not to exceed 18.5 thousand KZT per ton

The Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, does not intend to establish procurement prices of grain higher than 18.5 thousand KZT per ton. Vice Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, Armand Evniev, informed in the interview, the agency reports.

Astana. October 2. Kazakhstan Today - The Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, does not intend to establish procurement prices of grain higher than 18.5 thousand KZT per ton. Vice Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, Armand Evniev, informed in the interview, the agency reports.

"The price will be not less than 18.5 thousand KZT," A. Evniev said. This price will be kept in place until Food Corporation purchases 3 million tons of grain."

According to Vice Minister, the reason for low procurement prices is a good crop in Ukraine and in Russia. "All have quite good crops and our main competitors have big export possibilities, therefore, everything will depend on the markets that we will have the access to," Vice Minister said.
