Russia, South Korea and Kyrgyzstan lead in money transfers to Kazakhstani citizens

The amount of money transfers received by individuals from abroad for January-August has made up 220.5 billion tenges.
They in Ranking.kz have calculated the amount of money Kazakhstani citizens receive by the means of money transfer systems from abroad.

The amount of money transfers received by individuals from abroad by money transfer systems has made up 220.5 billion tenges for the period spanning from January to August this year, a 15.2% increase compared to the same period of the past year.

Against the increase in the amount, increase rates decrease in the second consecutive year. A year earlier, there was an 18.8% increase over the given period, with a 2.4-time increase in the previous years.

More than half of the amount of money received was sent by Golden Crown system - 114.7 billion tenges, a 17.9% increase within the year. Its share has increased from 50.8% to 52%.

It is followed by Western Union - 49.1 billion tenges, a 25.5% increase in the year, with the increase from 20.5% to 22.3% in its share.

The third one is MoneyGram - 17.9 billion tenges, a 2.3-time increase. Its share has increased from 4% to 8.1%.

Russia leads among the states from which money transfers are made - 111.8 billion tenges, that is by 0.5% less than that for January-August o 2017. Its share of the total amount of money transfers has decreased from 58.7% to 50.7%.

The next one is South Korea - 33.6 billion tenges with a 2.3-time increase. The country's share has increased from 7.6% to 15.2%.

The third one is Kyrgyzstan - 18.4 billion tenges, a 67.8% increase over the year, with its share increasing from 5.7% to 8.4%.
