Russia to increase oil export tax up to $240.7 per ton

Russia will increase oil export tax from $238.6 up to $240.7 per ton from October 1, 2009, the agency reports citing the government's order of the Russian Federation №756 of September 25.

Almaty. October 1. Kazakhstan Today - Russia will increase oil export tax from $238.6 up to $240.7 per ton from October 1, 2009, the agency reports citing the government's order of the Russian Federation №756 of September 25.

According to the order, tax on light mineral oil will be $174.5 per ton and on heavy mineral oil - $94 per ton.

As informed earlier, in September, oil export duty in the Russian Federation was $238.6 per ton, tax on light mineral oil was $173.1 per ton, and on heavy mineral oil - $93.2 per ton.
