Almaty. November 24. Kazakhstan Today - Federal Veterinary and Fytosanitory Supervision Agency (Rosselhoznadzor) is ready to introduce a temporary interdiction on import of potato into the Russian Federation from Holland, Belgium and France, the agency reports citing RosBusinessConsulting (RBC).

According to the press secretary of the department, Alexey Alekseenko, now introduction of temporary restrictions on import of potato from these countries is being discussed, but can become real. "These serious problems will be discussed during S. Dankvert's visit to Belgium. We will talk about the necessity of strict observance of the Russian safety requirements as now they have been obviously violated."
