Samruk-Kazyna management plans for activation of struggle against corruption

The affiliated companies of the Fund of National Welfare Samruk-Kazyna will carry out checks of the earlier facts of alienation of assets in order to reveal infringements of the legislation and to undertake the measures to protect the interests of the state, the press service of Samruk-Kazyna fund informed, following the results of the meeting of JSC Fund of National Welfare Samruk-Kazyna taken place on June 1st, 2009, the agency repots.

Almaty. June 2. Kazakhstan Today - The affiliated companies of the Fund of National Welfare Samruk-Kazyna will carry out checks of the earlier facts of alienation of assets in order to reveal infringements of the legislation and to undertake the measures to protect the interests of the state, the press service of Samruk-Kazyna fund informed, following the results of the meeting of JSC Fund of National Welfare Samruk-Kazyna taken place on June 1st, 2009, the agency repots.

"The meeting participants discussed the infringements in the work of some organizations, part of the group of the fund, revealed during checks by the law-enforcement and supervising bodies of Kazakhstan," the press service informs.

Following the results of the meeting, in connection with the infringements revealed by the State Office of Public Prosecutor of Kazakhstan in the work of ex-management of JSC Kazatomprom, the board of the fund has made the decision to carry out checks in the affiliated companies regarding the earlier facts of alienation of assets, including through creation of joint ventures and investment of assets into authorized capitals of other organizations, to reveal possible similar infringements of the legislation and accept the measures to protect the interests of the state.
