Second phase of crisis is over

Almaty. July 8. Kazakhstan Today - The acute phase of the crisis has passed and the third phase is theoretically possible. The chair of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Grigory Marchenko, informed during the press conference in Almaty, the agency reports.

"The acute second phase of the crisis has passed. If the second phase is the last, everything will be all right," G. Marchenko said.

"We what plan B if there is the third phase," the chair of the National Bank said.

"If theoretically the prices for oil fall down to $30 and remain at this level or lower for some period of time - more than 6 months - this would be the third stage of the crisis. We and the government have the plan to react to the third stage, but it would be better not to resort to it," G. Marchenk noted.
