Statistics of world trade demonstrates growth of opportunities of developing countries. The data obtained from the last edition of the statistical directory of United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) state, the agency reports referring to the UN news center.

Almaty. July 31. Kazakhstan Today - Statistics of world trade demonstrates growth of opportunities of developing countries. The data obtained from the last edition of the statistical directory of United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) state, the agency reports referring to the UN news center.

According to UNCTAD, hypothecary crisis in the western countries has not affected pace of growth of world trade last year. Volume of world commodity export has increased by 14.4 %. Export of raw materials and the goods from developing countries has grown by 15.2 %. Export of services has increased by 17.1 %.

Researches testify that in spite of hypothecary and food crises, growing oil price and threat of inflation, volumes of world trade have continued to grow. According to UNCTAD edition, 71 % of world GDP has accounted for the countries with developed industries, even though only 15 % of the population lives there.

According to UNCTAD experts, majority of the East European countries significantly reduced their export to the USA, having concentrated attention on the Western Europe. In particular, since 2000 the share of the Russian export to the USA was reduced from 7.7 % up to 3.1 % in 2006.

Volume of the Russian export last year reached $355.5 billion in comparison with $304 billion in 2006. Similar tendency was observed in all CIS countries, except for Azerbaijan that decreased its export from $6.4 up to $5.4 billion.
