During the meeting S. Balkibekov stated about an exclusive interest of Kyrgyzstan in export of Turkmen natural and liquefied gas, mineral oil and electric energy."

Having emphasized that Turkmenistan builds its energy policy on diversification principles, Berdymuhamedov noted readiness of the Turkmen party to export hydrocarbonic raw material to all interested parties including to the neighbors of the region.

According to the press service of the leader of the state, the parties discussed possibilities and conditions of deliveries of power resources, one of which is, according to the Turkmen party, sale of gas on its border.

As it was informed earlier, before leaving for Kazakhstan, S. Balkibekov declared intention to agree with Turkmenistan on deliveries of 1 bn of cubic meters of natural gas a year. In his opinion, "if we achieve mutually advantageous arrangements at Kyrgyzstan-Turkmen negotiations, Kyrgyzstan can solve the problems with energy supply both for a short-term and longer term periods."
