World Bank forecasts increase of oil prices in 2009 up to $75 for a barrel

World Bank forecasts growth of the world prices for oil in 2009 up to $75 for a barrel, the agency reports citing the report WB Global Economic Prospects.

Astana. December 11. Kazakhstan Today - World Bank forecasts growth of the world prices for oil in 2009 up to $75 for a barrel, the agency reports citing the report WB Global Economic Prospects.

According to WB experts, due to increase of the prices for food and fuel in the beginning of 2008, consumers in the developing countries have incurred in 2008 additional expenditures of about $680 billion. According to WB, as a result of "raw boom", 130 - 155 million people in the world have appeared to be below the breadline.
