World oil extraction in December increased up to 85.4 million barrels per day - IEA

Almaty. January 19. Kazakhstan Today - World oil extraction in December, 2006 in comparison with November increased by 110 thousand barrels per day - up to 85.4 million barrels, the International Energy Agency (IEA) monthly report states, Kazakhstan Today reports.

According to the report, daily production in the OPEC states, despite of the growth of extraction in 2006, for 2007 has been lowered by 300 thousand barrels - up to 52.3 million barrels.

According to IEA experts, the parameter value of "an option for crude OPEC oil plus change of stocks in the I quarter 2007 will total 28.6 million barrels per day.

The report emphasized that deliveries of crude oil from the OPEC countries in December 2006 in comparison with November 2006 decreased by 155 thousand barrels per day - up to 28.8 million barrels.
