World prices for oil increased

The prices in the world market for oil have increased, the agency reports citing New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) and London stock exchange InterContinental Exchange Futures (IСE).

Almaty. May 8. Kazakhstan Today - The prices in the world market for oil have increased, the agency reports citing New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) and London stock exchange InterContinental Exchange Futures (IСE).

In particular, the price at the last tenders the June future for oil of mark Light Sweet Crude Oil at stock exchange NYMEX was $57.30 for a barrel. The price of June futures for North Sea oil mix of Brent Crude Oil at stock exchange IСE at the last tenders has reached $57.39 for a barrel.

According to the OPEC countries - exporters of oil, the price of OPEC 'oil basket' has increased up to $54.09 for a barrel as compared to $50.36 for a barrel, as of April, 30th, 2009.
