World prices for oil increased on December 22

The prices for oil in the world markets on Wednesday, December 22, increased due to the data about the decrease in stocks of oil in the USA and the cold weather along the Atlantic coast.

Almaty. December 23. Kazakhstan Today - The prices for oil in the world markets on Wednesday, December 22, increased due to the data about the decrease in stocks of oil in the USA and the cold weather along the Atlantic coast.

The official prices of (settlement) of February futures contracts of Brent Crude Oil Futures at the London electronic commodity exchange (InterContinental Exchange Futures Europe, ICE), following the results of the tenders on December 22, increased from $93.20 up to $93.65 per barrel.

The official prices (settlement) of January futures contracts of the American Light Sweet Oil (WTI) at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) increased from $89.82 up to $90.48 per barrel.

The cost of the OPEC oil basket increased on December 21 from $88.59 up to $89.54 per barrel.
