World prices for oil went up on December 3 to biennial maximum

The prices for oil in the world markets on Friday, December 3, increased to its biennial maximum in the background of weakening of the dollar rate and extremely cold weather in Europe and the USA.

Almaty. December 6. Kazakhstan Today - The prices for oil in the world markets on Friday, December 3, increased to its biennial maximum in the background of weakening of the dollar rate and extremely cold weather in Europe and the USA.

The official cost of the January futures contract (settlement) of North Sea Brent Crude at the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) within the last trading day went up on December 3 from $90.69 to $91.42 per barrel.

The official cost of the January futures contract (settlement) on the American Light Sweet Crude Oil (WTI) at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) within the last trading day increased on December 3 from $88.0 to $89.19 per barrel.

The price of the OPEC Reference Basket on December 2 increased from $84.13 up to $86.14 per barrel.
