World prices for oil went up on September 10

The world prices for oil at Friday's tenders, September 10, went up due to some positive news from the USA and China and the world oil demand forecast of the International Energy Agency (IEA).

Almaty. September 13. Kazakhstan Today - The world prices for oil at Friday's tenders, September 10, went up due to some positive news from the USA and China and the world oil demand forecast of the International Energy Agency (IEA).

The official price of the October futures contract (settlement) of Brent North Sea crude oil at the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) at the last trading day went up from $77.47 to $78.16 per barrel.

The official price of the October futures contract (settlement) of delivery of Light Sweet Crude Oil (WTI) at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) at the last trading day grew from $74.25 to $76.45 per barrel.

The price for the OPEC oil basket (OPEC Reference Basket) grew on September 8 from $73.02 to $74.04 per barrel.
