WTO accession negotiations to allow achieving certain concessions

The negotiations on introduction to World Trade Organization (WTO) of the Customs Union states will allow achieving some concessions. The Secretary General of the Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC), Tair Mansurov, informed in the interview to the newspaper Kazakhstan Pravdaon Thursday, the agency reports.

Almaty. June 26. Kazakhstan Today - The negotiations on introduction to World Trade Organization (WTO) of the Customs Union states will allow achieving some concessions. The Secretary General of the Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC), Tair Mansurov, informed in the interview to the newspaper Kazakhstan Pravdaon Thursday, the agency reports.

"Holding the negotiations with WTO as the uniform customs territory with the uniform legal base, we will be able to develop a common position and to keep for ourselves a wide range of tools of economic policy, which needs to be adapted for the restrictions introduced by this organization," T. Mansurov said.

As informed earlier, the President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, on June 12, at the Council of Foreign Investors in Kostanay, informed that Kazakhstan plans to enter WTO as a united customs union.

"We have agreed to stop the negotiation processes regarding WTO's entry as a united customs union. Thus, WTO entry process will be carried out not by separate countries, but jointly as the union of three countries," N. Nazarbayev said.
