16 thousand people injured in China earthquake
Almaty. April 17. Kazakhstan Today - More than 16 thousand people were injured in China as a result of the earthquake happened on April, 14th in Eryuan district of Yunnan Province (Southwest China), the agency reports citing Xinhua.
According to Xinhua, the earthquake occurred at 04.37 in Eryuan district of Dali-Bai Autonomous Prefecture. At 10.29, the settlement Sishan of the same district was hit by 3.9 magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale.
As of 21.00 April 14th, 16 thousand 95 local residents were injured. Approximately 20 thousand apartment houses were damaged.
