Almaty. July 9. Kazakhstan Today - 5.5 magnitude earthquake struck south of Kyrgyzstan, the agency reports referring to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency of Kyrgyzstan.

According to the Institute of Seismology of National Academy of Sciences of Kyrgyzstan, on July 8 at 22.08 5.5 magnitude earthquake hit south of Kyrgyzstan. The epicenter of the earthquake was in the southern slopes of Alay ridge.

According to the press service, the earthquake was felt in the village Sary-Mogol - 5 points, in village Darout-Korgon - 4 points, in the city of Osh - 2.5 points.
