6.7-magnitude earthquake in Japan have caused tsunami, the agency reports citing RIA RosBusinessConsulting (RBC).

Almaty. August 17. Kazakhstan Today - 6.7-magnitude earthquake in Japan have caused tsunami, the agency reports citing RIA RosBusinessConsulting (RBC).

According to RBC, Japan was hit by 6.7-magnitude earthquake under the Richter scale. According to US Geological Service, the earthquake's hypocenter was at the depth of 10 kilometers near island Isigaki, in 210 kilometers to the southeast from Taiwan.

Neither casualties nor destructions have been reported yet.
