Each flood victim in Aksus area to be paid 500 thousand KZT

Each floodi victim in the Aksus area of the Almaty region will be paid 500 thousand KZT, the agency reports citing the press service of the Almaty regional akim.

Almaty. March 15. Kazakhstan Today - Each floodi victim in the Aksus area of the Almaty region will be paid 500 thousand KZT, the agency reports citing the press service of the Almaty regional akim.

"In connection with an emergency situation in the Aksus area of the Almaty region, the regional akimat will pay each victim in the village Kyzylagash 500 thousand KZT."

"The government of Kazakhstan will pay indemnification at the rate of 121 thousand KZT to each member of the family suffered from flood (lost housing, cattle and other property).

According to the state commission's decision, the new houses will be constructed in Kyzylagash village. Their housing will be repaired.

As informed earlier, due to heavy precipitation and increase of the air temperature on March 11 at 22.20 there was the dam burst in the Aksus area on the water basin of Kyzylagash. It flooded 257 houses in the village Kyzylagash where 3 thousand people live, the press service of the Emergency Ministry informed.

According to the information, death toll in Kyzylagash has reached 30 people. There are children among victims.
