Engine stop became reason of helicopter crash in Kyzylorda oblast
Astana. February 29. Kazakhstan Today - The reason of the helicopter crash in Kyzylorda oblast probably became stop of the engine, the Minister of Emergency of Kazakhstan Vladimir Bozhko informed today at the press conference, the agency reports.
"We consider two versions. The stop of the engine is one of the main versions because there was a sudden crash of the helicopter. Thus, there are some parameters that engines could stop," V. Bozhko said.
The reason of the helicopter crash could also be stoppage of delivery of fuel.
"We condole with families of the victims and we will make everything to help the injured to recover," the Emergency Minister said.
As it was informed earlier, helicopter MI-8T RGP Kazaviaspas of the Ministry of Emergency of Kazakhstan with 18 passengers onboard crashed yesterday in Zhalagash settlement (in 75 km from Kyzylorda) of Kyzylorda oblast at 15.30 at performance of flight over the channel of the river Syr-Darya on the territory of Zhalagash region.
5 people died, 13 people with various traumas have been hospitalized to the regional and oblast hospitals.
