Kyrgyzstan hit earthquake

Batkensky region of Kyrgyzstan has been struck by an earthquake, the agency reports citing the news agency 24.kg.

Almaty. June 17. Kazakhstan Today - Batkensky region of Kyrgyzstan has been struck by an earthquake, the agency reports citing the news agency 24.kg.

According to the Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences of Kyrgyzstan, 5-magnitude earthquake in the epicenter was registered at 02.43 in Kyrgyzstan. The seismic centre was in the territory of Kyrgyzstan, in 30 kilometers to the east from the city Batken.

According to the preliminary data, there were neither casualties, nor destructions.
