Kyrgyzstan struck 5 magnitude earthquake at night of August 21-August 22 in Issyk-Kul oblast. The press service of the Emergency Ministry of Kyrgyzstan referring to the Institute of Seismology of National Academy of Sciences of Kyrgyzstan informed the agency.

Bishkek. August 25. Kazakhstan Today - Kyrgyzstan struck 5 magnitude earthquake at night of August 21-August 22 in Issyk-Kul oblast. The press service of the Emergency Ministry of Kyrgyzstan referring to the Institute of Seismology of National Academy of Sciences of Kyrgyzstan informed the agency.

According to the Institute of Seismology, the epicenter of the earthquake was in the mountains Terskey Ala-Too near the villages Lahol, Tura-Suu, Zher-Kochku, in 50 kilometers to the southeast from the city of Balykchy Issyk-Kul oblast of Kyrgyzstan.

"According to the preliminary data, there are neither victims nor destructions," the press service of the Ministry of Emergency informs.

As it was informed earlier, on the night of August 21 Kyrgyzstan hit 4 magnitude earthquake. According to the Institute of Seismology of Kyrgyzstan, the earthquake occurred at 01.12. The epicenter was on the southern slope of the ridge Terskey-Ala-Too in 40 kilometers to the southeast from the settlement of city type Kadzhi-Say of Issyk-Kul oblast.
