UN continue to assist Kyrgyzstan citizens - earthquake victims

The United Nations administration for coordination of humanitarian affairs continues to assist Kyrgyzstan citizens - earthquake victims, the agency reports referring to the news center of the United Nations.

New York. January 10. Kazakhstan Today - The United Nations administration for coordination of humanitarian affairs continues to assist Kyrgyzstan citizens - earthquake victims, the agency reports referring to the news center of the United Nations.

According to the United Nations, sleeping bags, mattresses, blankets, warm clothes and hygiene items have been already delivered to the disaster area and 200 heaters have been distributed. Yesterday, the Great Britain government promised to give Kyrgyzstan citizens 400 warm tents. The government of Norway has given 120 winter tents. The United Nations administration has called other donors to follow these examples, having noted, that the victims are urgently in need of additional heaters and foodstuffs.
