Uzbekistan hit 5.3 magnitude earthquake

The south of Uzbekistan, the Surkhan-Darya area, hit 5.3 magnitude earthquake on May, 10th at 22.34 local time, the agency reports citing СA-News.

Almaty. May 12. Kazakhstan Today - The south of Uzbekistan, the Surkhan-Darya area, hit 5.3 magnitude earthquake on May, 10th at 22.34 local time, the agency reports citing СA-News.

According to USA Geological Service, the epicenter of the earthquake was in 25 kilometers from the Uzbek city of Denau, in 115 kilometers from Termez and in 365 kilometers from Tashkent. The magnitude in the epicenter was 5.3.

According to СA-News, 4.7 magnitude earthquake was registered in Dushanbe (Tajikistan) on May, 10th at 22.34.
