10 session of Cooperation Council RK-EU took place in Brussels

10 session of Cooperation Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan - European Union took place in Brussels on Tuesday. The Kazakhstan delegation in the structure of the representatives of state bodies was headed by the co-chairman of the Council RK-EU, Minister of Industry and Commerce of Kazakhstan, Vladimir Shkolnik, the agency reports referring to the ministry's press service.

Astana. September 17. Kazakhstan Today - 10 session of Cooperation Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan - European Union took place in Brussels on Tuesday. The Kazakhstan delegation in the structure of the representatives of state bodies was headed by the co-chairman of the Council RK- EU, Minister of Industry and Commerce of Kazakhstan, Vladimir Shkolnik, the agency reports referring to the ministry's press service.

During the event the parties discussed the questions, "including internal reforms, protection of human rights, presidency in OSCE, energy, trading-investment cooperation, and key aspects of realization of Strategy of New Partnership between the European Union and Central Asia," the press release informs.

Following the results of the session, the parties signed the protocol to Partnership and Cooperation Agreement between Kazakhstan and the European Communities and their Member States concerning positions of Partnership and Cooperation Agreement in regards to bilateral commerce in textiles and the protocol of Partnership and Cooperation Agreement between Kazakhstan and the European Communities and their Member States concerning Bulgaria and Romania joining of this agreement.

"EU is the influential participant of the World Trade Organization and key negotiator for Kazakhstan concerning introduction into this international organization. The next bilateral negotiations with EU on introduction of Kazakhstan into WTO took place prior to the forthcoming 10th session of RK- EU Council in Brussels," the press release states.
