20 documents signed at Council of Heads of CIS states session

A number of important documents were signed, following the results of the session of the Council of the Heads of the CIS states, the agency reports citing the president's press service.

Almaty. December 13. Kazakhstan Today - A number of important documents were signed, following the results of the session of the Council of the Heads of the CIS states, the agency reports citing the president's press service.

"Following the results of the session, a number of important documents were signed: the interstate manhunt contract; the protocol on the amendments to the agreement on formation of the council of heads of migration organizations; the protocol to the amendments to the agreement on the size of the state tax and the order of its collection in case of economic disputes between different states."

The heads of states during the session discussed important questions of cooperation of our countries within the CIS directed at strengthening and expansion of integration processes in the region.

According to ITAR-TASS, the leaders of the CIS countries accepted 20 documents, following the results of the summit. Among the accepted documents - on the course of preparation of the draft of the contract on the free trade zone, the strategy of the international youth cooperation of the CIS states for the period until 2020, and declaration 2011 of Food Safety Year in the Commonwealth.

The CIS presidency will pass from Russia to Tajikistan in 2011.
